About Me
Welcome to my personal website! Here, you'll find information about my background, interests, and projects.
Background
A little about me — I grew up in a small town in Kansas. I majored in economics and political science at Northwestern University. After my undergraduate studies, I worked as a Digital Technology Strategist with Do Big Things in Chicago, IL, optimizing email and social campaigns for progressive political campaigns and non-profits. I've just finished up a Master's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University. I'm now pivoting into a career as a software engineer, where I can combine my analytical background, creative problem-solving, and passion for building things that matter.
I pride myself on my integrity, competitive spirit, and commitment to life-long learning. These attributes weren’t innate; they were attained through the synthesis of my experiences in small-town America and top-tier universities.
I’ve dealt with more than my fair share of failures to get to where I am today. But I’ve always believed that the greatest moments of failure are followed by the greatest moments of growth, in one way or another. That attitude isn’t going to change anytime soon.
